- Gar Qaqing Horse Racing Event: The Gar Qaqing Horse Racing Event is a prominent, traditional Tibetan festival held in Gar County, Ngari Prefecture, Tibet, China. It is typically celebrated during the annual Shangshung Cultural Tourism Festival, showcasing spectacular equestrian feats, archery, and traditional Tibetan folk sports.
- Butter Lamp Festival: The Butter Lamp Festival, which falls annually on the 25th day of the 10th month of the Tibetan calendar, commemorates the Tibetan Buddhist master Tsong Khapa, founder of the Gelug School. It is one of the most important annual holidays for Tibetans in Xizang and other parts of western China.
- Gesar Epic Chanting: Gesar epic chanting is a traditional form of Tibetan folk ballad singing and storytelling that performs the heroic Epic of King Gesar through oral narrative and song.
